Eye Vision

"Our Vision is to see a local transformed and sustainable environment that preserves and enriches our social, economic and environment assets .We want to preserve, protect ,sustain and regenerate the environment by implementing :-

  • A youth and community educational programme aimed at raising awareness of sustainable development in the UK and how we can involve pan London, European and Commonwealth communities in working together to address climate change;
  • A challenging youth participatory programme that integrates sustainable human development, social capital and sustainable environment aspects into local neighbourhoods, influencing and introducing low carbon life styles and behaviour changes; **
  • Programmes that increase young people’s life chances in getting work in the low carbon economy through the provision of new learning opportunities, skills and training.

This would mean: The coming together of all groups (Public, Private, Third sector) to make improvements to the physical environment managing the resource base more effectively and making improvements to the social and economic conditions and infrastructure of local communities. This will contribute to long term regeneration, a sustainable low carbon economy and mitigate against the affects of global warming.
Our vision is underpinned by five principles:-

  • We put young people and their families first;
  • We strive to make a positive difference to the lives of young people and their families.
  • We work in partnerships with statutory, voluntary and corporate organisation to realise the needs and aspirations of young people and their families;
  • We are aware that poorer communities in the UK and in others parts of the world are disproportionally affected by climate change and that poverty and climate change need to be tackled hand in hand;
As an organisation we are transparent, accountable and open to change. These are the values which underpin our way of working.
